A closer look at the game
From the lobby QR code to the final scoreboard — here is Hidden Agenda on the phone in everyone's hand.
Built for the table, not the screen
Hidden Agenda runs quietly on everyone's phone while the real game happens in the room — in the conversation, the glances and the bluffs.
Three secret missions each
Every player draws a private hand of three mission cards. Each one scores points — and the trickier cards carry a bonus for pulling them off in style.
- Three secret cards, visible only to you
- Easy, Medium and Hard missions scored on difficulty
- Swap a card you do not like in the opening minutes
From zero to playing in one scan
One person hosts a room and everyone joins by scanning a QR code. A quick two-step setup picks how the round ends — then the table is in.
- Join by QR code or a short room code
- End on a timer, first to finish, or the host’s call
- No sign-up — runs on every iPhone and iPad
Call out anyone who slips up
Think a player just ran one of their missions? Submit a catch. The host approves or rejects it, and the real argument plays out loud at the table.
- Claim a catch on any player you suspect
- The host has the final say on every call
- An optional mode the host switches on per game

- Custom packs stay yours, even after you cancel
Plays in ten languages
Every menu and every mission card is fully translated, so a mixed-language table all reads exactly the same game.
- 10 fully localized languages
- Per-card translations written by hand, not machine-dumped
- Switch language anytime in Settings
How a round plays out
No board, no turns, no narrator. The game lives between the lines of a normal party — start to finish in one sitting.
Draw your hand
Everyone joins the room with a quick QR scan and draws three secret missions only they can see.
Play it cool
Slip your missions into the conversation. Sound natural — the rest of the table should think you are just chatting.
Score and catch
Mark missions done, call out players you suspect, and let the host settle every claim. Most points wins.
Questions before the first round
Does everyone at the table need the app?
Yes — Hidden Agenda is played on each player’s own phone. One person hosts a room and the rest join by scanning a QR code. It is free to download, so nobody is left out.
Does it need an internet connection?
Yes. Rooms sync in real time so every move shows up instantly, which means each phone needs to be online. There is no login or account to create, though.
How many people can play?
Two players is enough to start, but Hidden Agenda really comes alive with a group of four or more together in the same room. The more people, the more suspects.
What is the difference between free and Pro?
Free gives you the full Classic pack and a taste of Icebreaker. Pro unlocks all five packs, Catch mode, and Pack Forge for building your own packs — with no ads anywhere.
What exactly is Catch mode?
When you think a player just pulled off a mission, you submit a catch against them. The host approves or rejects it, so the real call always happens out loud at the table.
Can I make my own missions?
Yes. Pack Forge lets you write missions by hand or generate a themed pack with the built-in AI wizard. Any custom pack you create stays playable even if your subscription ends.
Is it suitable for any group?
Most packs are all-ages and party-friendly. The Spicy pack is rated 17+ and made for couples or mixed adult company — easy to leave out of family game night.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Anytime, from Settings → Apple ID on your device. You keep Pro until the period you have paid for ends, and any packs you built in Pack Forge stay yours.
