Privacy Policy

Hidden Agenda ("the app", "we", "us") is a party game for iOS. We built it to be fun, not to collect data about you. This policy explains exactly what the app does and does not handle when you play.

In short: there is no account, we never ask for your real name or email, and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers.

Information we collect

We keep data collection to the minimum the game needs to work.

No account. Hidden Agenda has no sign-up, no login, and no user profile. You do not give us an email, phone number, or password.
Gameplay data. To sync a game across phones in the room, the app stores a temporary room code, the display name you type for that game, and in-game events (missions completed, catches claimed) in a real-time database. This data exists only while a room is active and is automatically removed once the game ends or the room goes idle.
Purchases. Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment-card details. We only receive a signed receipt confirming whether a subscription is active.
Analytics. We use a privacy-focused analytics tool to understand how the app is used in aggregate — for example, how often a paywall is shown or which screens are visited. This is tied to a random, anonymous identifier generated on your device. It is not linked to your identity and is not used for advertising.
AI pack generation. If you use the AI wizard in Pack Forge to draft a custom pack, the theme and prompt text you enter is sent through our server to an AI provider so it can generate mission ideas. Do not enter personal or sensitive information into the wizard.

How we use information

We use the limited data above only to:

run multiplayer games and keep every phone in the room in sync;
deliver and restore subscription access;
generate custom mission packs when you ask the AI wizard to;
understand, in aggregate, how the app is used so we can improve it.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or resale.

Third-party services

The app relies on a small number of established providers, each with its own privacy policy:

Apple — App Store distribution and subscription billing.
Google Firebase — anonymous authentication and the real-time database used to sync games between devices.
PostHog — anonymous, aggregate product analytics.
Anthropic — the AI provider that powers the optional Pack Forge wizard.

Data retention

Room and gameplay data is short-lived: it is removed automatically when a game ends or a room becomes inactive. Anonymous analytics events are retained in aggregate for a limited period to track product trends. Custom packs you create are stored only on your own device.

Children's privacy

Hidden Agenda is a party game intended for a general audience. The Spicy pack is rated 17+ and is gated accordingly. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children, and because there is no account system, no personal profile is ever created.

Your choices

Because the app has no account, there is no profile to delete. You can:

delete the app at any time to stop all data collection;
manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions;
remove custom packs directly on your device.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
